Can you tell us about your role and what a typical day looks like?

My day-to-day involves designing and enhancing technology solutions to meet business needs. From collaborating with stakeholders and working alongside developers to implement systems, to testing software and troubleshooting issues. At finova, we focus on optimising cloud platforms and ensuring system performance to improve business operations. A typical day combines a mix of technical work, problem-solving, cross-functional activities, and collaboration.

What do you enjoy most about working at finova?

I enjoy optimising internal IT systems that support the company’s cloud-based platforms and mortgage services, working with cutting-edge technologies and addressing real-world challenges to enhance business operations. The fast-paced, innovative environment at finova provides me with continuous learning opportunities. At the same time, the collaborative culture allows me to contribute to strategic IT decisions and daily infrastructure management, making the role dynamic and rewarding.

How do you stay motivated and productive while working on challenging tasks?

Setting clear goals and breaking down challenging tasks into smaller, manageable steps. I stay engaged by collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging finova's innovative environment. What do you enjoy doing outside of work to relax and unwind?

Outside of work, I enjoy visiting friends and family, which allows me to reconnect and unwind.

I love clubbing to the vibrant rhythms of Afro music! The energetic beats and lively atmosphere help me unwind and recharge while enjoying time with friends. It’s a perfect way to relax and embrace the joy and energy that Afro music brings.

What are you most looking forward to in the coming year at finova?

I look forward to working on innovative projects that propel the company’s technology forward, particularly in cloud computing, AI, and automation. I’m excited about continuing to optimise internal IT systems, aiding in the streamlining of operations and enhancing efficiency across the business.
