finova launches an enhanced and inclusive family friendly policy for all staff
Award-winning lender and Intermediary technology provider, finova announces the launch of an enhanced family friendly policy for its UK team. The inclusive internal policy aims to increase the period for full paid maternity and paternity leave and support those suffering with fertility problems or pregnancy loss.
Data suggests 3.5 million people In the UK are currently suffering with fertility issues, while 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss during pregnancy or during birth. Furthermore, many couples and individuals are embarking on alternative paths to parenthood, reflecting the variety of family structures that exist today - all of which can be a mentally and physically exhausting period.
Through finova’s new policy all staff will be entitled to:
- 16 weeks full paid maternity leave
- 4 weeks full paid paternity leave
- 10 days paid leave after pregnancy loss which applies to both partners.
- 5 days paid fertility leave which applies to both partners.
